Website Hosting/Building
Free Website Hosting/Building
Turn yourself into a Masonic web developer – without even knowing what programming is! The below three systems are as easy to use as Microsoft Word, but powerful enough for even small businesses to use.
Google Sites
A free website hosting platform through Google. Lots of templates, works very easily with Google web calendars, forms, etc. Once in place you can easily manage it all from a smartphone.
Weebly
I’ve not used Weebly but it is a very reputable free website hosting platform that features a paid upgrade if you need the features. Drag and drop editors, tons of templates. Once in place you can easily manage it all from a smartphone.
WIX
I’ve not used WIX myself but a WIX website is also free for hosting and comes complete with easy-to-use drag and drop website building with tons of templates. They feature a paid plan as well with a few more features. Once in place you can easily manage from a smartphone.
Paid-For Website Hosting
I personally use Bluehost but (easier) paid hosts like HostGator, GoDaddy, etc are a dime a dozen. Most hosting providers have some type of turnkey website builder package you can allow even 50+ year members to easily launch a website within 15 minutes. Make a call and explain your situation, they’ll find an easy solution that works specifically for you.
I also have many associates that love Square Space for being friendly to the most technologically unsophisticated and/or time crunched.
